Usually, Tim begins with the end in mind. But with these works, he has found it is both about taking time to learn from the journey and improving the finish of the end product.
Tim has been working on the lathe for upwards of 30 years, with a drive to hone his skills and a love of working with natural material. What the images below show are small snippets of many hours that go into the trials and errors of shaping, carving, sanding, polishing and buffing.
